TC8 hosts a broad range of events, organized mainly by its working groups.
At any given time, these events are in one of the following status:

2 Approved by TC8 (=TC8 agrees it is a good idea and the dates are OK)
3 Approved by IFIP (=papers filled out. Budget ok. Everything signed)
4 Taken Place
5 Close off (= budget communicated to IFIP. IFIP fee transferred)
About
IFIP TC8 was established by International Federation for Information Processing in 1976 as a Technical Committee dedicated to the field of Information Systems. TC8 aims to promote and encourage the advancement of research and practice of methods, techniques, concepts and issues related to information systems in organisations.
In addition to the activities of TC8's working groups, such as workshops and conferences, TC8 also publishes through IFIP. TC8 holds an annual meeting to which Chairs of Working Groups and National Representatives of country computer societies are invited.
